Common Mistakes & Misconceptions
Typical reasons that doing it on your own often fails

Unrealistic goals – Trying to get back to your cheerleader or football captain days may not be the right choice. Setting smaller, more attainable goals will spur you on instead of making them feel impossible to achieve.

Wrong definition of “in shape” – Fad diets and workouts that are too frequent or too intense result in quick burnout, and little to no improvement in fitness level.

I can do it myself – You might be able to do it on your own, but having someone show you the proper form will result in a more effective workout. Knowing that you have a coach waiting to help you may be just the encouragement you need.

Exercise is boring – It can be if you do the same exercises every time you work out. We can mix things up to help you continue on your road to fitness.

At Total Fitness Solutions, we believe success is not measured on a scale, but by progress, percentage of body fat, strength, confidence, how you look, how you play and how you feel. We will work with you on all aspects to help you achieve the goals that are right for you.
